You Can't Hurry Love

It has been a week, that is for sure.

Paul, the guy who I am suppose to have a lunch date with, FINALLY called me today. Instead of lunch he wanted to see what I was doing over the weekend. Don't men know that they are not suppose to call on Friday to see if a woman can fit them in over the weekend. As if I was waiting by the phone for him to call.

I did a little more love marketing today. I told a buddy of mine that I was looking of someone. His first response was that I didn't need anyone cause it would distract me from the career that I am building. I assured him that I am looking for someone who can come with me on my journey on the come up. As I talked to him, I got a slight feeling that he is a bit interested in me. While he is awesome there are so many reasons why we could never be. I will spare you all the details.

My friend Melissa tried to talk me into going to a singles event next week at AISH, some casino night. Can you say "oy vey". I do not have the stomach for a Jewish singles event at the moment. It is sad to say, but a Jewish singles event is my last resort.

The King of Queens is still the only one that makes my heart flutter. He simply does it for me. There are no word...(sigh)

As the Supremes sang..."you can't hurry love".....
